David and Christa Liggins have collected and arranged authentic tunes from ancient times: Song 4 'Ancient Sounds' is around 3,400 years old and Song 6 'Chinese Emperor' is from around 1,000BC, for example. Each song has modern lyrics which are didactic, fitting the rhythms perfectly. The music, scales and instrumentation remain as authentic as possible.
