Easy to hold and easy to master, the 4-hole Oc is the ideal first musical instrument for beginners of all ages.
Covering different combinations of four fingerholes gives a full octave of notes plus three sharps and flats – enough for any first-time musician! The first eleven notes on this ocarina are equally easy to play. A steady breath produces a clear singing tone.
We love the simplicity of the 4-hole ocarina and the possibility of playing 14 accurately tuned notes with just four finger-holes. That's why we've made it in plastic for school use and at an accessible price.

The Ocarina is an ancient instrument. Round flutes have been made on all continents for thousands of years. This ocarina is an English ocarina. It has a new, unique fingering-system invented by British ethnomusicologist John Taylor in the early 1960's.
