Our ceramic ocarinas are handmade in England by master craftsman John Langley. Each ocarina is well-tuned to play with other instruments. The ceramic ocarinas have 4-holes on top and two thumb-holes underneath, so that a total of 14 notes can be played, including all sharps and flats.

The ceramic Alto is equivalent in pitch to the plastic OC. The ceramic Bass and Mini ocarinas also have D as their lowest note. Choose any of these ocarinas to play along with the CDs for your own ‘ocarina-karioke’ and to play in school.

Micro, Soprano, Tenor, Great Bass and Mega Bass ceramic ocarinas all play in the same way as D ocarinas. They each have G as their lowest note. Each G ocarina has its own special character; read in the Oc Shop for more details.

Duet ocarinas are the pride of the ceramic range. Each Duet is exquisitely made with two 4-hole ocarinas inside a single body. Play two notes simultaneously for a stunning harmony sound.
