CD-Rom short-listed for Award
The Ocarina-Teaching CD-Rom has been short-listed for the Education Resources Awards at this year’s Education Show.
The CD-Rom has been very well received by Primary School teachers throughout the UK, and particularly in Kent, where whole-class ocarina playing is a thriving part of the curriculum in many schools. As one lead teacher commented on the 20 partnership schools in her area:
“The generalists in our schools can all teach ocarinas to their own classes: the children are very enthusiastic and so are the teachers, many of whom have never played an instrument before – they are amazed to discover they can now play an instrument, and teach it too.”
